RISK LEADER OF THE YEAR

• 10+ years risk management experience.
• Nominations must be made by a person familiar with the nominee’s work and ability or be self-nominated.
• Nominee’s must have supporting documentation and declaration from a manager/supervisor.
• An individual that has been peer reviewed as driving excellence and influencing risk outcomes across an organisation, who has contributed to the development and advancement of the risk profession more broadly.
• Required Documents: Up to date resume and a cover letter.
• Assessment Process: 2 references (Senior & junior) OR 2 x 15 minutes peer review phone call; 1.5hr competency-based interview against selection and assessment criterium.
• Each submission and evidence must be from within the previous 12 months.

RISK MANAGER OF THE YEAR

• 5+ years risk management experience.
• Nominations must be made by a person familiar with the nominee’s work and ability or be self-nominated.
• Nominee’s must have supporting documentation and declaration from a manager/supervisor.
• An individual who has delivered excellence in the management of risk for their organisation.
• Required Documents: Up to date resume and a cover letter; 250-word executive summary; 750-word submission demonstrating competence against selection & assessment criteria.
• Each submission and evidence must be from within the previous 12 months.

RISK CONSULTANT OF THE YEAR

• 1-5 years risk management experience.
• Nominations must be made by a person familiar with the nominee’s work and ability or be self-nominated.
• Nominee’s must have supporting documentation and declaration from a manager/supervisor.
• An individual employed as a consultant (self or other) that has delivered excellence and able to demonstrate that through their consultancy they have supported organisations in the management of risk and contributed to enhancing business performance.
• Required Documents: A copy of your Resume; 250-word executive summary; 750-word submission demonstrating competence against selection & assessment criteria.
• Each submission and evidence must be from within the previous 12 months.

CHIEF RISK OFFICER OF THE YEAR

This award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the field of risk management. This individual has a deep understanding of the risks facing their organization, and has developed and implemented strategies to manage and mitigate those risks. They are a strong advocate for risk management within their organization, and have earned the respect and trust of their colleagues. They are a true leader in the field of risk management.

RISK INNOVATION

This award recognizes the organization that has contributed to the advancement of risk management knowledge and practice by finding new ways in its implementation.

RISK TECHNOLOGY

This award is given for organizations for utilizing or inventing new technology to deliver an integrated and seamless risk management practices.

RISK EDUCATOR

This award is given to organization that promotes creative and innovative ways in building robust understanding about risk management.

RISK LEADER OF THE YEAR – AFRICAN REGION

• 5 to 10 years leadership experience.
• Nominations must be made by a person familiar with the nominee’s work and ability or be self-nominated.
• Nominee’s must have supporting documentation and declaration from a manager/supervisor.
• An individual that has been peer reviewed as driving excellence and influencing risk outcomes across an organisation, who has contributed to the development and advancement of the risk profession more broadly.

PUBLIC SECTOR RISK LEADER OF THE YEAR

• 5 to 10 years leadership experience within the public sector.
• Nominations must be made by a person familiar with the nominee’s work and ability or be self nominated.
• Nominee’s must have supporting documentation and declaration from a manager/supervisor.
• An individual that has been peer reviewed as driving excellence and influencing risk out comes across an organisation, who has contributed to the development and advancement of the risk profession more broadly.

This award is presented to the organization that has proven itself to be able to carry out ground-breaking risk management approach to tackle challenges and exploit opportunities in this fast-paced world.

This award is given to the organization that encourages innovative transformation in public sectors as it helps many citizens live a better life.
